Celine Dion has unveiled the full ad for her new gender-neutral children’s clothing line.
On Monday, she teased a clip of the video showing her being tackled to the ground by security and handcuffed. The full video, posted today, reveals why.
Celine enters the newborn ward of a hospital, where all the babies are separated by gender and dressed in pink and blue. She blows some magical Celine fairy dust and suddenly all the babies are dressed in black and white designs from her collection — a collaboration with the brand nununu.
That’s when she’s spotted by security and attempts to escape, but they tackle her and take her away in handcuffs. “I’m Celine Dion,” she pleads with them. To which the female officer replies, “Yeah girl, and I’m Beyoncé.”
Celine captions the video, “I’ve always loved nununu and what they represent. Partnering with them to encourage a dialogue of equality and possibility makes so much sense.”
Her line, called Célinununu, is available now.
