ABC/Rick RowellLady Gaga hung up her meat dress a long time ago, but it seems PETA is still looking for more support from the singer.

The animal rights group wrote an open letter to Gaga, after news broke that she helped her father write an Italian cookbook. They’re hoping the book will include vegan options.

“A delicious and cruelty-free dish such as a vegan pollo alla cacciatora would lend itself perfectly to your empowering ‘Born This Way’ anti-bullying movement — ensuring that no animal is bullied just to satisfy someone’s appetito,” PETA writes.

The cookbook is titled Joanne Trattoria Cookbook: Classic Recipes and Scenes from an Italian American Restaurant and comes out in November. The collection of recipes was compiled by Gaga’s father, Joe Germonotta, who owns Joanne Trattoria on the Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Gaga wrote the foreword.
