The Voice season nine champ Jordan Smith is back with a new single, “Only Love,” as well as news of a new album.
The album, also called Only Love, will be out “late summer,” according to Jordan’s record company. It was produced by RedOne, best known for his work with Lady Gaga, and Jordan co-wrote six of the tracks.
As for the title track, Jordan says, “‘Only Love’ was written as a reminder that there is a common thread running through all of us to love and be loved. I can’t imagine a better song to release after nearly two years of writing music.”
Only Love will be Jordan’s third album, following his 2016 #2 debut album Something Beautiful and his top 10 Christmas album ‘Tis the Season, which also arrived in 2016. Recently, Jordan co-wrote Celine Dion‘s latest single, “Ashes,” from the Deadpool 2 soundtrack.
Jordan won season nine of The Voice — he was on Team Adam. He remains one of the most successful, biggest-selling winners the show has produced.
