Fresh from being named Variety’s Songwriter of the Year, Bebe Rexha will be honored with the Breakthrough Artist Award at the Music Biz 2019 Conference’s Awards & Hall of Fame Dinner in May.
The award is presented to an artist who has “truly emerged and made a particularly significant impact on the music scene in the past year,” and who is “poised to propel [themselves] to stellar new heights.” Past winners include Meghan Trainor, Lukas Graham, John Legend, Carrie Underwood and Maren Morris.
In the past year, Bebe’s hit collaboration with Florida Georgia Line, “Meant to Be,” broke chart records and won numerous awards. She also released her debut album No Expectations in 2018.
