Backstreet Boys were Jimmy Fallon‘s musical guest on Thursday’s Tonight Show and became the latest musical act to join Jimmy and his house band, The Roots, in the Tonight Show music room, performing their hit “I Want It That Way” with classroom instruments.
The recurring segment features Fallon and The Roots backing music artists for a version of one of their popular songs using instruments like tambourines, xylophones, hand clappers and kazoos.
Backstreet Boys — which consists of Nick Carter, Brian Littrell, Kevin Richardson, A.J. McLean and Howie Dorough — recorded the segment earlier Thursday.
Other artists that have joined Fallon for classroom versions of their songs include Camila Cabello, Adele, Ariana Grande, One Direction, Mariah Carey and Madonna.
Backstreet Boys closed out the show with a performance of their latest single, “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.”
